As a performing artist herself, Jackie Skeen had a dream to create a place where the artist (Dancers, Singers, Models, Actors, Visual Artists) and the industry such as Competitions, Auditions, Performance opportunities, Agencies etc could get to meet on one platform.

Performer Corner was born in 2008, matured during 2009, 2010 & 2011 and finally made its public appearance in May 2012. All companies go through much needed growth, changes and trials and errors to finally bloom into its full potential and with Performer Corner it was nothing different.

  • Our Performing artists contact details are kept safe. We receive all requests for artists to perform or join an agency first and then send this to the artist or parent with our opinion on the matter which we make carefully by investigating the matter.
  • Our Students can also earn an income by being a Performer Corner Ambassador – The more Stars we have on the website, the broader the exposure for each artist on it. When you are the reason for an artist to sign up, they indicate where they heard of Performer Corner and you get paid 5% of their first yearly payment. Remember to sign up as an Ambassador by sending us an email.

Our Mission:

It is our mission to get the performing arts industry to communicate all kinds of possibilities and opportunities to the performing artists registered on this website.

The performing artist uses this website to market him/herself on a safe platform that does the connection to the industry on his/her behalf.

Performer Corner Screens all the organizations (competitions, agencies, venues, training facilities etc) before they can join the community to ensure that they are legit and safe. As a mother, owner Jackie Skeen takes this element very seriously.

Performers contact details are kept safe and only visible to those that have been screened by us and can log onto the website.  Any other potential opportunities can contact performer corner first in order for us to screen them and ensure the performers safety as far as it is possible for us to do so.

Performer Corner is NOT an agency and we do not get any commission on performance deals agreed on between artists and registered organizations. We simply create the platform for these discussions to happen.

Performer Corner puts the website out there as the place to meet with performing artists. We do not promote any single performing artist at any time.
